JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Speech-Language Pathology; supervise student practicum; recruit and advise undergraduate and graduate students; supervise students in varied caseloads as defined by communicative disorder categories and age ranges; participation in scholarly activities and clinical supervision. Eligible candidate should have an interest in clinical practice, teaching and research in one or more of the following areas: dysphagia, motor speech disorders, neurogenic communication disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, voice disorders, speech science or child language.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, South Carolina Licensure eligible.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Preference given to individuals with university experience and a background in speech and language disorders across the continuum of care, and evidence of scholarly activity are highly desirable.
