Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology-Tenure Track

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is accepting applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Biology. The Assistant/Associate Professor will fulfill commitments to teach in the undergraduate and graduate biology program, conduct research, advise students, serve on committees, and assume other responsibilities deemed necessary to fulfill the mission of the department and the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. In addition to teaching, this position requires ongoing compliance with the criteria for faculty performance in research and grantsmanship, faculty development, service to the University and the community, committee participation, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline and will join a department committed to providing quality instruction and research opportunities to undergraduate students. Candidate must have relevant teaching experience at the college level; a commitment to maintaining research with undergraduate students; and must be able to provide direction and guidance to students.
SALARY: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
