|Job Description:Wiley College seeks a well-qualified professional to join its team as the Executive Administrative Assistant for the President. The Executive Administrative Assistant is to provide clerical and administrative assistance in the Office of the President.
Responsibilities include receiving visitors, providing information, referring calls to proper officials, making inquiries, obtaining information, scheduling appointments and meetings, making travel arrangements, taking minutes of meetings, maintaining committee records, maintaining office files, and preparing correspondence. The administrative assistant will also assist with the preparation and coordination of information and reports and complete assigned projects with independent judgment and initiative.
A high school diploma is required, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a minimum of three years of office experience. Work experience may be substituted for college on a year-to-year basis. Candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to plan, organize, and accomplish goals.
